By Bus: Bus numbers Buses 82, 42, 87, 69 go to the Eiffel Tower. From here on it is an 8 to 10-minute walk.

By Metro: There are 3 metro stations near the Eiffel Tower: Trocadéro Station, Bir-Hakeim Station, and École-Militaire Station. From here you can walk to the Tower.

By RER: Travel on Line ‘C’ of the Paris RER rail network. Get off at Champs de Mars station and from there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.

By Car: There is no parking service available near the Tower. If you are driving down, you can park near the Parking Pullman Tour Eiffel which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the location.

Tips for visiting the Eiffel at night

  • Dress in warm clothes since it will be cold and windy at the top of the Tower all year. 
  • The counter for tickets to the Eiffel Tower closes at 11:00 PM so plan accordingly.
  • Restaurants in the Eiffel Tower have a dress code of casual, formal, or semi-formal. Sportswear is a definite no-no so please dress with this in mind while visiting the Eiffel Tower. 
  • There are no lockers for luggage in the Eiffel Tower so please don’t carry too many bags or valuables.
  • Toilets and baby care are available on the first and second floors but not at the top.
