Things to know before booking your Cheese Museum tickets

Which experience should you choose?

  • With the Guided Tour with Tastings ticket, you’ll have access to the Living Cheese Museum, along with a curated tasting of four traditional French cheeses. A cheese expert will walk you through the exhibits and share how cheese is made, aged, and enjoyed across France. Tours are available in English or French.

  • The Cheesemaking Workshop with Tastings takes place at Paris’s only Cheese School, a separate location from the museum. You’ll learn how to make fresh cheese from start to finish and enjoy a tasting at the end. This ticket does not include entry to the Living Cheese Museum. If you’d like to visit the museum as well, the tickets need to be booked separately. This experience is offered only in English.

  • The Art of Pairing Cheese and Wine ticket includes a guided tasting held in the cellar located beneath the museum. You’ll sample a curated selection of French cheeses and wines, with insights into how they complement each other. The session is offered in English or French. Please note that this ticket does not include access to the Cheese Museum, and if you’d like to visit the exhibits, a separate museum ticket is required.

  • Museum entry is included only in the Guided Tour ticket. The workshop and cheese pairing sessions happen at separate locations.

When to book?

To get your preferred time slot, especially for workshops and cheese pairing sessions, it’s best to book 1–2 weeks in advance. This is especially important during the summer season (June-August), weekends, holidays, and school breaks when spots fill up quickly.
