The Paris Catacombs are located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, right by Place Denfert-Rochereau.
- Paris Catacombs entrance: 1 Avenue du Colonel Henri Rol-Tanguy, 75014 Paris
→ This is where all visitors begin their Catacombs experience, close to Denfert-Rochereau Metro and RER station. - Paris Catacombs exit: 21 bis Avenue René-Coty, 75014 Paris
→ The route is one-way, so you’ll emerge at a different point, roughly 700 metres from the entrance. - Nearest Metro/RER: Denfert-Rochereau
→ Served by Metro lines 4 and 6 and RER B, making it the easiest public-transport stop for the Catacombs.
💀 Good to know: Don’t go hunting for those mysterious “secret entrances” you may have seen online. The official visitor entrance above is the only one you should use — the wider underground quarry network is not part of the public Catacombs route.
