When we booked our appointment, we were let in on time, the check-in was quick, the lift took us up to the 56th floor in no time, from where we had a wonderful panoramic view all around. We also liked the QR code mobile downloadable app that showed us what buildings we could see in the lake. The sunset was beautiful, I loved every minute of it. Sky bar was also working but we didn't use it.

The montparnasse tower is fantastic! An amazing view of paris!!! We were there in the evening so we saw the Eiffel tower sparkling in all the lights. Really amazing. The tower itself is not exactly a beautiful building, but the height makes it a super experience. Ordered the tickets at headout, very easy and in the app.

Although the facility is dated and in need of some refurbishment if not a complete makeover , the spaces and locations available for the view from the top of Paris are good and allow for an exceptional experience especially if done at sunset . Easy to purchase via app .

What I liked best was that you could walk through the catacombs at your own pace and still get to know everything about the story thanks to the audio guide. So you could take enough time to look at everything in peace. I also like the fact that the audio guide is available in several languages. Furthermore, the information from the audio guide was understandable, informative and yet not too much.

I thought that the information presented in the catacombs was well done, and the audio guide was very helpful.. One suggestion: please warn people that they will need to walk 130 steps down and 130 steps up. That's it. For the rest, the visit was excellent! I will definitely recommend the visit to friends and acquaintances, with the caveat about the steps. :-)

ParisMontparnasse Tower

Montparnasse Tower: The Eiffel’s edgy cousin

If you thought Paris was all about the old world charm with cobbled streets, historical arches and lacy metal structures, think again– there’s a glassy urban giant standing right in the heart of the city. The Montparnasse Tower, an audacious skyscraper which is a stark contrast to the city's famed Haussmannian elegance, rises up to a staggering height of 689 feet with a total of 59 floors!

Keep reading to know how to choose your tickets to this high-rise building in the City of Love, its highlights, visiting information and more!

Things to know before booking your Montparnasse tickets

  • If you’re going for the Montparnasse Tower entry tickets, you will have to pick a specific time slot for entry which will make sure that your visit is seamless. Once you’re inside, you can stay and explore the tower for as long as you like
  • The entry tickets give you access to both the 56th and the 59th floors. While there’s an elevator that will take you up to the 56th floor which has the observation deck with  telescopes, interactive terminals, and touch-screen tables to orient yourself, you will have to climb the last 3 floors to reach the terrace on the 59th floor which is open-air.
  • Go for a guided tour of 1 hour 30 minutes with an English-speaking tour guide if you want to learn more about the history of the Montparnasse neighborhood. After exploring the area and its famous landmarks, your guide will lead you to the Montparnasse Tower and show you around the observation deck. However, you won’t have access to the terrace with this ticket.

  • Tickets include entry to the Montparnasse Tower itself, complete with admission to the observation deck on the 56th floor and even access to a Paris shuttle that stops at popular tourist spots.

What’s at the top: Exploring the Montparnasse Tower

The observation deck

Located on the dizzying 56th floor, offering a panoramic view of Paris from 210 meters above the city, you’ll reach the top after a 38-second ride in the fastest elevator in Europe. Enjoy the views while also engaging with interactive terminals, touch-screen tables. Don’t forget to look through the telescopes for a closer look - literally and figuratively - about the city's landmarks.

The rooftop

If you’re more of a soaking-the-sunlight-in-the-open-air kind of person, the Montparnasse rooftop is perfect for you! As you sunbathe and enjoy a refreshing drink from the champagne bar, you can spot the iconic attractions of Paris, like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, and Notre-Dame Cathedral– it’s your day out, your way.

The VR experience

To add a modern twist to the classic sightseeing, you can strap on a headset and view Paris in its former glory at the Montparnasse Tower with the VR experience! Called "Paris Time Travel", it celebrates the rich history and timeless beauty of Paris. From the time of Lutetia, the Gallo-Roman city that existed before, to medieval Paris and even the Eiffel Tower's inauguration for the Universal Exhibition in 1889, it’ll transport you back in time.

The 360 cafe

Refuel at the 360 Café right at the summit! Located on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower, it’s Europe's highest panoramic café– it offers a range of food and drink options, from hot meals and fresh sandwiches to romantic candle-lit dinners.

If you like history, then it's definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed the whole experience from the gardens to the Palace itself. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was fine with the ticket and the service, they even called to make sure I didn't have any questions. I received the ticket again via WhatsApp the day before, so everything was really on the safe side. The castle itself is overrated for me, there are more beautiful places in Paris and the surrounding area. The garden is beautiful and really worth seeing and lovingly designed.

The exhibition is magnificent. Despite having booked a time slot, we had to wait 15 minutes and the rooms were very full, so that we had to push past the photos in a row.

Easy access to the Museum... What really interested me was the reality of the positions of the public figures in the Museum. It's amazing not to know whether the person in front of you is real or not. I deliberately took close-up photos of people in whom I found a magnificent resemblance. Skin, eyes, facial expression, all remarkably reproduced. A big BRAVO to the whole team.

Our visit to the Eiffel Tower was a memorable experience! Anjali was an excellent guide – knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole tour engaging and enjoyable. The queues were longer than we expected, but overall everything was well organized. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Anjali as your guide!

We took our 3.5 yo grandson to the Aquarium. He really liked the Koi exhibit and touching the fish. He was not ready for the live shows and I did not realize there was a live mermaid show until later. I understand being in Paris it is in French, however English handouts would be nice as there are many visitors from all over there.

Although the queue was long, the wait was very short. Quickly taken care of and efficiently controlled! The climb is certainly sporty, but what a view as a reward! Just magical!

The evening visit was more convenient for us, as I also had children with me. The Louvre was a huge place and an incredibly beautiful building. There were so many really cool paintings and other art objects. Even the ceilings of the building were very artistic!

Despite skepticism as to whether I would get the tickets in time, everything worked out and the tickets were on my e-mail in the morning. Catacombs mega impressive and Seine ride relaxing.
