My ticket was dated, I changed the date because of the weather, but they let me in anyway. It's great, I've been to the museum several times, this time for my granddaughter's 10th birthday, she loved it. 🌝

The Musée Grévin is highly recommended. The building is beautiful and very impressive. The wax museum is a great day out for the whole family. However, the opening times on Headout were unfortunately not correct. Instead of opening at 9:00 am as stated, admission did not start until 9:30 am. This led to unnecessary waiting times. It would be helpful if the opening times were updated so that you could plan your visit better.
Visiting Grévin Wax Museum
Ways to explore: All tickets include access to the permanent wax figure galleries. Explore at your own pace with standard entry or upgrade to hosted entry for smoother access during busy periods.
Additional access: No separate add-ons or restricted sections as your ticket covers all themed rooms, interactive sets, and temporary installations if available.
Queues & access: Standard entry may involve short waits at peak times. Hosted entry helps you bypass ticket-purchase lines, though security checks are mandatory.
When to book: Weekends, school holidays, and summer afternoons sell out fastest, so book 3–7 days in advance for popular time slots.
Good to know: Tickets are single-entry and valid only for the selected date (time slots may apply during high season). Free cancellation is typically available up to 24 hours before the visit, depending on ticket type.
What to expect at the Grévin Wax Museum

Start with a spectacle
Your visit begins in the Hall of Mirrors, a dazzling chamber of light and reflections first created for the 1900 World’s Fair. The kaleidoscopic visuals set the stage for a surreal journey ahead.
Step into the spotlight
Walk into galleries of over 450 lifelike wax figures. From Marilyn Monroe’s timeless charm to Shah Rukh Khan’s cinematic presence or David Beckham mid-action, the sets are designed so it feels like you’ve entered their world.
Meet history face-to-face
Beyond pop culture, the museum dives into French history and global icons. Napoleon, Marie Curie, and French presidents are recreated with meticulous detail, letting you experience the past in immersive scenes.
Play, pose, and interact
Themed sets and playful photo ops invite you to become part of the story. Families especially enjoy these interactive corners, where kids can dart between heroes, musicians, and sports legends.
Explore at your own pace
There’s no rush. The museum’s flow lets you wander freely between eras and genres. Whether you linger in history halls or the celebrity rooms, you’ll leave with photos, stories, and memories to share.
Things to know before booking your tickets to the Grévin Wax Museum
Standard entry tickets give you access to all wax figures, themed rooms, and interactive exhibits as well as the Hall of Mirrors sound and light show. Visits are self-paced and flexible, but you’ll need to join the general queue to enter, which can take 15–30 minutes on regular days and up to 45+ minutes on weekends or holidays.
Family reserved entry tickets bundle admission for 2 adults + 2 kids or 1 adult + 3 kids. They include reserved entry, letting you skip the main queue and saving you €32 compared to four standard tickets.
Tickets often sell out during weekends and French school holidays. To avoid disappointment, book at least 3–5 days in advance for weekday slots, or 1–2 weeks in advance for peak days.
