Went with my wife and parents. Guide (Frederic) made history come alive. Lunch was delicious, cider tasting was a fun bonus. Long day but so rewarding.

History NERD heaven. Was worried it’d be too touristy but nope, super focused and respectful. The guide (Chloe) had a binder of old maps and photos, which really brought things to life. Lunch was in a local bistro—best bread I’ve had in France. The cider was sweet and crisp. Highly recommend.

Hands down, one of the best days of our trip. The stories, the views, the cider—EPIC! Our guide, Luc, even played WWII-era songs in the van, which was such a cool touch. We traveled with two other couples and everyone got along. Was a little crowded at the cemetery, but we still got to see everything. Bring a water bottle, there’s not always a place to refill.

Got some great photos at Pointe du Hoc (can’t take pics inside the museum tho, FYI). The lunch was a surprise—homey and not touristy at all. Bonus: they had veggie options! Would go again with my mum.
